turned into a pretty ok day in the studio – though the afternoon rain ended up slowing down my progress – which is probably a good thing.

    The jars are perfectly executed and then the loose slip application…. Too good!
    I would love to see how you make those lids! Such great details. Do you throw the knob on, or attach the knob after it’s thrown?

    Thanks for the kind words Michi.
    The lid is thrown as an upside down bowl with a split rim. Then it is put on the jar body asap. The lid is trimmed on the pot and the finial thrown on immediately – then the lid is painted to work with the body.
