John Gill Promenade

I just found this photo posted on facebook and had to share.  It’s shots like this that make me want to work just as hard as I can – you know?

John is strolling thru work to be delivered to Harvey/Meadows Gallery– a show we had this past summer featuring new work by John and Akio Takamori.

It was an amazing show to be around for a month and two suckers paid me to look at it.

Thanks Guys!

I just looked that show up online. It was pretty amazing. I don’t know much about John Gill. Cool how he’s put these out on the path.

John was my most challenging teacher back at Alfred. At the time I just could not get what he was trying to tell me – ‘you are trying TOO hard’ he would say – which drove me nuts!
Over the past 10 years most of what he said has come back as exploding time bombs of wisdom – when i least expected.
John Gill is a gift that keeps on giving.
and one hell of an artist.
