    There’s something really special about your cups. I’m sure it is not just pattern, color, shape, but the maybe synthesis of all of them.

    it means a ton.

    I think the success of my cups is due to a combination of investment and experimentation. I never feel so free and loose in my work as when I’m making cups. Moving ideas of form and motif onto larger, more complicated pots I often tighten up. I’m trying not to do that. Must mean I have to make more complicated pots more often.
