new cups

first pots of the year – a bunch of gooey cups.

they’re trying to do somethin – though i’m not yet sure where they are going.  i find myself liking the ones that have a nice balance of crispy white space.  there is something going on with the yellow that’s starting to act like a heavy ash glaze – further confusing the surfaces and moving further away from the vocabulary of low-fire, which is intriguing (to me).

there are a handful of other pots i’ll share from this last kiln in the next couple days – stay tuned.

Do you sell your pottery anywhere online? Like Etsy or via PayPal?
